The 14-year-old driver who killed two pavement dwellers and injured several others in a case of rash driving on Wednesday, was produced before the Juvenile Justice Board here on Thursday. He was sent to an observation home.
“He was standing silently in court and did not say anything. Although he had representation from a lawyer, he did not move a bail application,” public prosecutor V.V. Parmar told The Hindu .
The minor has been booked for culpable homicide, rash driving and damaging property.
The police said he was driving his deceased uncle’s car, which was in the possession of his parents.
