Mridula Sinha to be sworn in as Goa Governor on Sunday

Ms. Mridula Sinha will be administered oath of office as the Governor of Goa by Chief Justice of Bombay High Court Justice Mohit Shantilal Shah at Durbhar hall of Raj Bhavan near here at 11.30 am on Sunday.

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar received Ms.Sinha, the Governor designate to Goa on her arrival at Dabolim airport in Goa on Saturday.

She arrived along with her husband Mr. Ram Kripal Sinha, former MP and a former Union Minister.

Ms. Sinha is a writer of Hindi literature and former Chairperson of Central Social Welfare Board (CSWB), Ministry of Human Resource Development. She is also a former President of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha.
