As the PDP-BJP government formation in Jammu and Kashmir seems to be round the corner, leaders of both parties on Wednesday met Governor N.N. Vohra separately on the issue.

From the BJP, its national general secretary Ram Madhav, accompanied by party State president Jugal Kishore and BJP legislator Nirmal Singh met the Governor.

“During the course of a nearly one-hour meeting, Mr. Madhav informed the Governor about the present status of the ongoing BJP-PDP discussions on the formation of the government,” the Raj Bhavan said.

Later, PDP legislator Haseeb Drabu met Mr. Vohra and briefed him on the parleys on government formation. Sources said the political leaders expressed reservations over the reshuffle in the Administration and the Police made by the Governor on Tuesday.
