Plane’s tyres burst in Srinagar

A chartered flight, carrying security personnel, had a narrow escape when its tyres burst while landing at the Srinagar airport on Thursday.

AI 3821 flying in Jammu-Srinagar sector got stranded on the tarmac when its tyres burst around 2 p.m.

“All personnel aboard were moved out safely,” said a police official. Around 15 flights were delayed due to the mishap.
