Continuing its probe into the multi-crore-rupee Saradha scam, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) Tuesday again grilled Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha member Ahmed Hassan Imran over his alleged financial transactions with the group.

Imarn is the editor of Kalom , a vernacular daily that was owned by the Saradha Group till 2013 when it was bought by Kalom Welfare Association.

Launched as a magazine, Kalom turned into a daily newspaper after the group bought it in 2011.

On Aug 25, the Enforcement Directorate had quizzed Imran for the first time.

Imran said he was summoned to share information about his stint as an editor in the Saradha Group.

The agency earlier quizzed actor-urned Trinamool MP Mithun Chakraborty and West Bengal Textile Minister Shyamapada Mukherjee in connection with the scam.

Actress and film-maker Aparna Sen, who was associated with a Saradha publication, was also grilled by the Enforcement Directorate.
