Describing the death of a TV journalist covering the Vyapam recruitment scam as ‘shocking’, Trinamool Congress on Sunday said truth must come out and supported the demand of sending the viscera samples to AIIMS in Delhi for examination.
“Employers, others and the family of the journalist want viscera report to be sent outside MP to AIIMS Delhi.
Death of young journalist covering Vyapam case is shocking.Condolences to his family. Very disturbing reports from MP. Truth must come out,” TMC national spokesperson Derek O’Brien said in a statement.
The last rites of investigative TV journalist Akshay Singh, who was covering the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board scandal, were held today in Delhi where Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were among those present.
Singh, who was working with TV Today group, died yesterday after he interviewed parents of a girl who was found dead after her name figured in the massive recruitment scandal.
