Pak. must end ties with India: Salahuddin

July 30, 2016 02:13 am | Updated 02:13 am IST - Srinagar:

United Jehad Council chief Syed Salahuddin on Friday asked Pakistan to “call off its diplomatic and economic relations with India.”

In a statement issued to local news agencies here, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) based militant leader Salahuddin said “It is really painful for people of Kashmir that Pakistan will welcome Mr. Singh. Instead of welcoming him on August 13, Pakistan should end diplomatic and economic relations with India.”

Salahuddin, also Hizbul Mujahideen supremo, described Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh’s Pakistan visit as “rubbing salt on Kashmiris wounds.” “This can have negative and harmful impact [on Kashmir],” he added.
