Jayalalithaa wealth case: End of arguments by prosecution

Main arguments by the prosecution and on behalf of the convicts in the appeals filed by AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa and three others against their conviction in the disproportionate assets case ended before the Karnataka High Court on Friday.

However, the Court had posted the proceedings to Monday as BJP leader Subramanian Swamy is expected to file his statement on Monday.

The arguments had commenced on January 5.

While Special Public Prosecutor G. Bhavani Singh submitted synopsis of arguments, the counsel for the convicts sought time till Tuesday to submit written synopsis of their arguments.
