Mounted police unit for IT corridor

The IT corridor of Gachibowli will soon witness a union of advanced and prehistoric police patrolling with the Cyberabad cops planning to deploy a mounted police unit here.

Around 10 horses are being procured by the police for its mounted police unit initially. “A duty chart will be prepared for the mounted unit. Depending upon the availability, a team will be deployed for patrolling in the IT corridor everyday. It will give a sense of confidence to the people,” Cyberabad Commissioner, C.V. Anand explained.The IT corridor has offices of several international IT companies and is constantly under vigil.
