Judiciary’s credibility

Much needs to be done to restore the high standing of the judiciary (“Restoring the judiciary’s credibility,” July 24). The selection of judges is no easy task but it must be done in a transparent and accountable way without any form of interference. The loss of values has crept into all administrative systems and to have it happen to the judiciary is perhaps the last straw. This is bound to erode our faith and confidence in the system.
