The second test between Bangladesh and South Africa was declared a draw Monday after play on the fifth and final day was abandoned due to a wet outfield after days of rain.

Rain at the Shere Bangla National Stadium disrupted three straight days of play before umpires decided to abandon the match 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the fifth day.

Bangladesh was 246-8 in its first innings with captain Mushifuqr Rahim topping the score with 65 runs on the first day before the rain set in.

The first test at Chittagong was also rained out to a draw after the final two days were washed out.
