India romps away to a 7-wicket win as Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Manish Pandey enjoy the dew and knock the Kiwi bowlers about on their way to 289/3.

Welcome to the live updates of the third one-day match between India and New Zealand in Mohali on Sunday. The five-match series is levelled at 1-1 with India winning the first match and New Zealand won a thriller in the second.

Indian Innings:

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson admits they could have used more runs on this good surface. Also admits that the Indian batsmen took the game away from them after the early wickets. He laughs away Ross Taylor's drop of Kohli, but you know who is going to be asked to sit in the corner in the Kiwi dressing room tonight.

India captain MS Dhoni is happy his men did not have a hangover from the previous game, praises the bowlers (surprise package Kedhar Jadhav, about whose eerie ability to get wickets Dhoni has no clue), but calls for better finishes. Says he came higher up the order so he could express himself better. That he did, he did.

Man of the Match Virat Kohli sympathises with Taylor, hails his luck, and lauds the partnerships he shared with Dhoni and Manish Pandey on a not-so-flat wicket, says Kohli. Secret to his success, tempering himself not getting overexcited, as well as keeping the strike rotating. Just another day, another dollar for the Virat.

Some great visuals for India this evening, as Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Manish Pandey help the team romp over New Zealand's 285, which in retrospect — even more so — was under-par despite the ninth-wicket fireworks by James Neesham and Matt Henry. What a crazy performance by Kohli, though, who was inspired by the century partnership he enjoyed with captain Dhoni, who came up the order at no.3 tonight and struck a few meaty blows during his fifty, and went on to finish yet another match chasing for India. This time, with a sublime 154 not out. Pandey was a great foil for Kohli, playing unorthodox shots to keep the prevent the momentum from flagging after the Dhoni wicket. Williamson's men had scant answers as a mild covering of dew came on and the Indians did not allow Santner to get on top of them.

Earlier, Amit Mishra, Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah made inroads into the Kiwi batting line-up and dented them with a clump of wickets in the middle overs.

49th over: 289/3 (V Kohli 154 off 134 | M Pandey 28 off 34 || win by 7 wickets) : And it's all over as Pandey powers Henry to the Midwicket boundary for four to cross the line.

48th over: 285/3 (V Kohli 154 off 134 | M Pandey 24 off 32 || need 1 from 12 balls) : Boult begins his over with a yorker. Kohli begins Boult's over with a four . And now, after a whip for two over Mid-wicket, he despatches it right over Mid-off for a four . And while the spectators try to clear their throats from the previous uproar, Kohli has sent it straight over the bowler's head for a huge six . Another flicked two on the on-side, and Kohli has his 150. Then, he finishes the Boult over by digging another four out of the blockhole, through Point. That's that. Well, all but.

47th over: 263/3 (V Kohli 128 off 124 | M Pandey 23 off 30 || need 28 from 18 balls) : Southee back. Kohli hustling for the runs. If he were any more diligent, he could pass the IAS exam with ease. 5 runs off it. The RRR is technically 7.66, but all that does is showcase the misdirection that statistics are prone to. These two could finish this in an over or two.

46th over: 258/3 (V Kohli 128 off 124 | M Pandey 23 off 30 || need 28 from 24 balls) : Kohli is in Zen mode here. Except if the Zen master was The Hulk. Neesham bowls a slightly slower one on Off-stump, Kohli waits, and absolutely bashes it through the Covers for four .

45th over: 251/3 (V Kohli 122 off 120 | M Pandey 22 off 28 || need 35 from 30 balls) : Another great partnership has built up for India in quick time, as Kohli and Pandey have a run-a-ball-odd 50 partnership. These guys have younger legs than Dhoni when he was 24 combined — running like hares with carrots in sight. The victory is definitely in sight now, with just 35 required off the final five overs and 7 wickets remaining.

44th over: 245/3 (V Kohli 119 off 117 | M Pandey 19 off 25 || need 41 from 36 balls) : Wow, a slice for four through Cover. Kohli is a master at that shot, no matter the bowler, Boult in this case. Kohli still running hard here, screaming for the second run whenever his young legs can afford it.

43rd over: 237/3 (V Kohli 112 off 112 | M Pandey 18 off 24 || need 49 from 42 balls) : Short-of-length is the hyphenated word on the Kiwi bowlers' lips now. Henry really pulling it back, but the Indians continue to nudge, place and flick the singles and doubles. Looks comfortable for the hosts from here on.

42nd over: 231/3 (V Kohli 107 off 108 | M Pandey 17 off 22 || need 55 from 48 balls) : Boult back, as India gets a move on. And Kohli is not done. Glides a short delivery over the slips, down for a four to Third-man. A flurry of singles and 1 wide to follow. 10 off the over. This is healthy for India.

41st over: 220/3 (V Kohli 101 off 105 | M Pandey 13 off 18 || need 66 from 54 balls) : Neesham is back. And there it is, with a single down to Third-man. ODI hundred #26 for Virat Kohli , and his 14th while chasing for India. He's fourth in the list of most hundreds, preceded only by the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Ricky Ponting. This man Kohli will soon be needing a statue at Madame Tussaud's.

And now, Pandey has slapped it straight over Neesham's head for a four . 8 runs off it, as India get some momentum going again.

40th over: 213/3 (V Kohli 99 off 103 | M Pandey 8 off 15 || need 73 from 60 balls) : Kohli moving closer to his century now, still doing it by running between the wickets. Oh, not for long, he's in a hurry as he flashes a good-length Southee delivery on his legs over Square-leg for a four . Kohli 1 run away from his 26th ODI century.

39th over: 204/3 (V Kohli 91 off 98 | M Pandey 7 off 14 || need 82 from 66 balls) : Santner really throwing the ball up now, goading the batsmen for a wicket. Kohli, however, is trying to play real late, off the back-foot.

38th over: 202/3 (V Kohli 90 off 96 | M Pandey 6 off 10 || need 84 from 72 balls) : Oh, there's some classic Pandey. Short ball busted over bowler's head for four . Flattest of bats, this man has. Kohli may be in good company here.

37th over: 193/3 (V Kohli 88 off 94 | M Pandey 0 off 6 || need 93 from 78 balls) : Now, the pressure is rising on India, as the experienced finisher Dhoni departs at a crucial stage. Santner is flighting it now. Kohli is the mainstay hereon.

36th over: 192/3 (V Kohli 87 off 93 | M Pandey 0 off 1 || need 94 from 84 balls) : Henry back on now. Oops, he's let that one slip too full into a full-toss, and Dhoni has lashed it past his head for a fierce four . But a ball later, it's Henry who has the last laugh, as he has Dhoni (80 from 91) chipping meekly straight into Short Cover's hands . That's a 163-ball 151-run partnership come to an end.

35th over: 187/2 (V Kohli 86 off 92 | M Dhoni 76 off 87 || need 99 from 90 balls) : Santner bowling intelligently here, anticipating the batsmen's approach, shortening his length, straightening his line at the last moment before delivery. But the Indians running well here, making sure they get the quick singles in.

34th over: 184/2 (V Kohli 84 off 89 | M Dhoni 75 off 84 || need 102 from 96 balls) : Southee changing his length up almost every ball. But Kohli gets his bottom-hand out and whips a delivery on off-stump over to the on-side over Long-on for four . Woof, that's some serious whippage.

33rd over: 178/2 (V Kohli 79 off 85 | M Dhoni 74 off 82 || need 108 from 102 balls) : Neesham again. Both teams are placed almost identically in terms of scores at this stage, only the Kiwis had lost 4 more wickets. Kohli has been looking whippy on the off-side this over. And he finishes the over by whipping a slower one away for a four , on the on-side — a regulation flick played with more power and in the air over Mid-wicket.

32nd over: 169/2 (V Kohli 73 off 81 | M Dhoni 72 off 80 || need 117 from 108 balls) : Southee back on. Kiwis pacers are bowling decidedly slower here. Pace off the ball, and the Indian batsmen seem hard-pressed to get it away to the boundary. And the players will get some liquids in.

31st over: 163/2 (V Kohli 67 off 73 | M Dhoni 68 off 75 || need 123 from 114 balls) : Neesham continues. Getting those slower ones in now. Beats Kohli on one occasion, and doesn't allow any boundaries. The RRR, meanwhile, is around 6.5. The Indians need to keep the scoring rate going.

30th over: 159/2 (V Kohli 67 off 73 | M Dhoni 68 off 75 || need 127 from 120 balls) : Kohli, who has been a silent partner to his captain for a while, resumes his scoring with a four edged through Third-man. Boult is a good bet, sure. But, is Williamson at all thinking off bringing Martin Guptill, who got some effective wickets in similar dewy conditions in the previous match, on to bowl a few overs now?

29th over: 154/2 (V Kohli 62 off 70 | M Dhoni 68 off 73 || need 132 from 126 balls) : Dhoni has been dominating the strike here over the past few overs, and he has since overtaken his Vice-captain. Neesham is now looking to vary his pace here to the Indian captain. Seems to have worked this over. Just 2 off it.

28th over: 152/2 (V Kohli 62 off 70 | M Dhoni 66 off 67 || need 134 from 132 balls) : Boult back on. A couple of singles. And then, Dhoni swivels. Four .

27th over: 143/2 (V Kohli 60 off 68 | M Dhoni 59 off 63 || need 143 from 138 balls) : Oof. Yet another gigantic six from Dhoni. Neesham is taking a beating with this ox of a man. And the rest of the over is an exercise in calm singles. Mature partnership, this. Worth a 102 runs now.

26th over: 133/2 (V Kohli 59 off 65 | M Dhoni 51 off 60 || need 153 from 144 balls) : Henry continues. And Dhoni has his fifty. A long time since his last one, it feels like.

25th over: 130/2 (V Kohli 58 off 62 | M Dhoni 49 off 57 || need 156 from 150 balls) : Dhoni still looking to advance down the track to Santner, but the spinner is outwitting him at the moment. Just 4 off the over.

24th over: 126/2 (V Kohli 56 off 59 | M Dhoni 47 off 54 || need 160 from 156 balls) : Matt Henry comes back on now as Southee repairs his radar. Dhoni places the final delivery, a short and wide one, beautifully between Point and Third-man for four .

23rd over: 120/2 (V Kohli 55 off 58 | M Dhoni 42 off 49 || need 166 from 162 balls) : Santner staying full and flat. India can afford the quieter middle overs, I guess. 5 more reduced from the chase.

22nd over: 116/2 (V Kohli 53 off 54 | M Dhoni 40 off 47 || need 170 from 168 balls) : Would have been an impressive over, with well-placed short-deliveries, if not for the two wides that Southee sent down. 5 off it.

21st over: 111/2 (V Kohli 51 off 50 | M Dhoni 39 off 45 || need 175 from 174 balls) : The highlight of this over — and we daresay, the innings so far — is the six the Dhoni bludgeoned this over off a length-ball from Santner. Easiest shot you'll ever see.

20th over: 103/2 (V Kohli 50 off 49 | M Dhoni 32 off 40 || need 183 from 180 balls) : Southee now in for some variety, simply pace, probably. Kohli and Dhoni tap the ball around, and the Vice-Captain Kohli reaches his fifty with a flicked four through Fine-leg.

19th over: 97/2 (V Kohli 45 off 45 | M Dhoni 31 off 38 || need 189 from 186 balls) : Santner bowls a deft over for just 3 runs. Something to be said for variation of speeds and length, especially at this stage of the game.

18th over: 94/2 (V Kohli 43 off 42 | M Dhoni 30 off 35 || need 192 from 192 balls) : Neesham persists, despite his last over going for runs. And Kohli has smashed a wristy one away for four . And then Dhoni pulls it away with disdain for another four a ball later. You don't bowl bouncers to Dhoni, who absolutely relishes the swivel-pull.

17th over: 85/2 (V Kohli 38 off 39 | M Dhoni 26 off 32 || need 201 from 198 balls) : Dhoni is looking to advance down the track nearly every delivery now. And he has finally got this away for a tall sixer straight over Santner's head — over everyone's heads, really. And what's more, he seems to have become the fifth Indian batsman to reach 9,000 runs in ODIs.

16th over: 76/2 (V Kohli 35 off 37 | M Dhoni 20 off 28 || need 210 from 204 balls) : Ooh, Neeshan is bouncy here. But gets the treatment off the second delivery from Dhoni, who lofts him weakly over Mid-off, but the shot is powerful enough to go for four . Dhoni looking to attack here, as he sends a short delivery screaming to Sweeper for a couple.

15th over: 67/2 (V Kohli 33 off 35 | M Dhoni 13 off 24 || need 219 from 210 balls) : Santner to continue. And Kohli breaks loose, slicing one over the Point infield's head for four . Dhoni is unable to get Santner away, with his changes of pace.

14th over: 62/2 (V Kohli 28 off 33 | M Dhoni 13 off 20 || need 224 from 216 balls) : Neesham comes back on. Dhoni seems bemused by Neesham this over. Gets surprised by the bounce on a couple of occasions, though he tackles it well. Takes one on his stomach to finish.

13th over: 60/2 (V Kohli 27 off 32 | M Dhoni 12 off 15 || need 226 from 222 balls) : Dhoni is now using his wrists and deft touches here now to pat the ball into gaps and run the singles. Best mindset to have when consolidating after a wicket. And there he goes, he's got his helmet back on now.

12th over: 56/2 (V Kohli 25 off 29 | M Dhoni 10 off 12 || need 230 from 228 balls) : Well. The Cap'n has taken his cap off. Call me superstitious, but that usually bodes well for India. And he's advancing down the track too. This is just the intent that India needs as its Run-rate droops at around 4.6 an over while Require Run-rate is over 6.

11th over: Boundary! Capn' cool in action. Four for Dhoni. Southee and Williamson have a quick chat in between. Just how difficult are they planning to make life difficult for this duo?

Seven runs this over. India at 52/2

10th over: Boult in to bowl. Dhoni on strike. Quiet over. Just three runs. India at 45/2

9th over: Southee is back. And he's back with a bang. Rohit Sharma gets out, LBW . The Indian skipper is the next man in. India at 42/2

8th over: Boult is back. He changes the line, comes in over the wicket and gets hit to the boundary. Four for Kohli. A dot ball and four more. A single off the fifth ball.

Nine runs this over. India at 40/1

7th over: Skipper Williamson brings in Southee to bowl. Both Sharma and Kohli seem to be defending a lot of short balls. Four runs this over. India at 31 for I.

6th over: Boult in to bowl. Fifth ball bouncer, soars over Kohli's head. Two runs off this over. India at 27/1.

5th over: Henry in to bowl. A single. A dot ball. And Kohli goes for a boundary. FOUR. It races away to the boundary. Kohli hits the fourth ball, looks like it'll go the boundary like the last one, but Ross Taylor is in the way at the slips. It's a sitter and the man misses the catch. Reprieve for Kohli and he can't believe it. Ross can't believe it. Kohli dropped at 8. The question is, though, just how costly is this drop going to be for NZ?

Two runs off the last ball. Seven runs this over.

India at 25/1

4th over: Boult on the bowling. 18/1 after four overs.

3rd over: Henry back again. Four! Boundary for Rahane.

Rahane gets out! Wicket for Henry. MoM award waiting in the wings, hmm? Virat Kohli walks in at No.3

India 13/1 (already)

2nd over: NZ Skipper brings in Boult. The bowling change seems to work for them as India get only a single run off the over. India 9/0

1st over: Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane open for India. Matt Henry in to bowl. Two fours. 8 runs off the over. India 8 for no loss.

New Zealand innings:

What a partnership Henry and Neesham had! Where NZ were tottering at 199/8, the duo salvaged the innings enough to put together a better-than-decent score. India should have wrapped NZ up nice and early, somewhere between 220 and 230, after bagging six wickets one after another but the game seems to have had gotten away from them.

India now have an uphill task of chasing 286. Nothing new for them, they've chased bigger targets on more frightening pitches but if the NZ bowlers have anything up their sleeves, India might be in trouble.

50th over: Final over, Bumrah in to bowl. Boult in. Three balls in, Bumrah bowls him out . New Zealand is at 285, setting India a target of 286.

49th over: Penultimate over. Henry on strike and SIX! Henry's in his element, two more boundaries, both fours . Poor India. And Yadav strikes again. Neesham is out, caught by Jadhav. Full toss. But it's a little too late for India, the damage has aleady been done. 15 runs this over. NZ at 283/9

48th over: Bumrah in to bowl. Henry on strike. Takes a single and Neesham gets in on the action for a boundary on the second ball.

There's a direct-hit attempt. Rahane again, how does he end up right in the thick of the action? But it's a miss. Sorry, Ajinkya. NZ at 268/8

47th over: 51 runs in the last 9 overs for NZ. Good haul there.

Umesh in to bowl. Four for Neesham. Brilliant shot, races to the boundary. Two off the next ball, full toss, full length too. Boundary! Four off the last ball brings up a very well-deserved fifty for Neesham. A very well-deserved maiden ODI fifty! Well done, mate.

Meanwhile, in the other parts of the world:

46th over: Bumrah to bowl. Five fielders outside the circle now - three on the leg side, two on the offside. Two quick singles, good cooperation between the batsmen.

Fourth ball bouncer from Bumrah, Henry tries to duck and ends up falling to the ground. Light moment there. Four runs off this over, NZ at 247/8

45th over: Patel in to bowl. Another four for Neesham. The last wicket pair are playing quite sensibly, sticking to quick running between the wickets and the occasional boundary. The duo steal quick two runs off the fifth ball, while Pandey dive-rolls to save the ball from getting to the boundary. 10 runs this over.

NZ at 243/8. The 250+ target doesn't look too far now. Dare we hope for a 270?

44th over: Mishra in to bowl. India are maintaining a tight outfield, not letting anything get past the fielders. Well, except the boundary off the fifth ball this over. Four for Neesham. Single off the last ball. Nine runs off the over. NZ at 233/8

43rd over: Patel in to bowl. Henry and Neesham seem to be holding their ground, if a little cautiously. They want to play out the full 50 overs.

NZ 224/8

42nd over: Think NZ can come up with another 45 runs in the death overs?

Umesh in to bowl. Second ball goes wife. Boundary on the next ball. Four. Another single. NZ at 219/8

41st over: Powerplay 3 comes on. Mishra in to bowl. India must be looking to wrap things up quickly now, just two more wickets to go. If the NZ bowlers come up with a good performances, we might be having a cracker of a match.

Just two runs this over. NZ 213/8

40th over: Umesh Yadav bowling. Good couple of deliveries from Umesh, including that fourth ball bouncer. Four on the next ball. Boundary for Henry. NZ 211/8

39th over: Bumrah bowling. Neesham gets a four off the first ball of this over. 200 up for NZ. Just two other singles. A total of six runs this over. NZ 205/8

38th over: 13 overs to go and India's seems to have their head comfortably in the game. Neesham on the strike, Umesh Yadav in to bowl.

Umesh has a wide grin on his face. Tim Southee has been clean bowled. NZ are eight wickets down. Even 250 looks like a difficult target at this point, with just two wickets to go.

Matt Henry, next man in. Brilliant over for India - 3 runs and a wicket. NZ at 199/8.

37th over: Bumrah bowling. There's a direct hit at the stumps and it looks like NZ's next wicket. But Neesham makes into the crease comfortably.

Hi Ashwin. NZ are falling like a pack of cards and you're watching the England vs Bangladesh test match? Tsk. Tsk.

Four runs this over. NZ at 196/7

36th over: Mishra back into the attack. Quiet, quick over. Two runs. NZ 192/7

35th over: Santner is out!

Bumrah is the man and Kohli is oh-so-happy to take the catch at point. First wicket for Bumrah this match. Tim Southee is the next man in and quickly smashes two fours. 10 runs this over. NZ 190/7

34th over: Five off this over for NZ. Players take a drinks break.

What an amazing bunch of overs it has been for India! Four wickets in four overs. NZ is in a lot of trouble and there's still another 16 overs to get through. Will India have to chase a 300-plus target? It seems quite unlikely at this point, but never say never.

New Zealand at 180/6.

33rd over: Bumrah in to bowl. One boundary, one single. NZ 175/6

32nd over: Jadhav continuing. Another wicket down! Latham is gone. Pandya takes a leaf out of Rahane's book and almost effortlessly plucks the ball out of the air. Mitchell Santner is the next man in. NZ at 170/6

31st over: Luke Ronchi in. Luke Ronchi out. Just how quick is Dhoni with the stumping? Cap'n Cool. Did Ravi Shastri just compare Dhoni's speed to a pickpocket's? Third umpire rules it. Two wickets in quick succession for India. And suddenly, New Zealand is at 161/5.

James Neesham in. NZ 166/5

30th over: Corey Anderson replaces Taylor, comes in, hits a four and is gone the next ball. Full toss by Jadhav, and Rahane, who seems to be everywhere on the field, stretches to his left just a little bit and the ball lands safely in his hands. No biggie. NZ 161/4

29th over: Mishra bowls. Ross Taylor almost gets run out on the very first part of the over, but he's safe. Partnership intact. Two runs off the ball.

The jinxing worked! Ross Taylor is out. Gone for 44. Mishra is a very happy man. Brilliant delivery. Taylor attempts a run, but the ball quickly lands in Dhoni's gloves and just as quickly, it's over. NZ 154/3 at the end of the over.

28th over: Skipper Dhoni has a nice chat with Pandya. Now he's chatting with Patel, who comes in to bowl. What words of wisdom did the Cap impart? More importantly, will it get us wicket? Okay, we'll shut up.

Taylor hits the last ball of the over for a big, big six. This jinxing thing isn't working so well. Eight runs this over. NZ at 150/2

27th over: Both Latham and Taylor seem to have nicely settled in. Does this count as a jinx?

Pandya in to bowl. NZ 142/2

26th over: Latham brings up his 50. Just a quiet raise of the bat. Third ball goes for a four, it's pitched outside the off-stump. Five off the over. NZ 137/2

25th over: Pandya comes in to bowl. Unfortunately for him, the first ball goes for a four. Fortunately for NZ, that brings up the 50-run partnership. Third ball goes up in the air, but it falls away from the fielder. NZ 132/2 at the end of the over.

24th over: Axar Patel to continue. Will be his sixth over. Taylor on strike. NZ 126/2

23rd over: Mishra on. Rahane is in the thick of things, rolling around on the field for another save. NZ at 123/2

22nd over: Axar Patel on the bowling. There's an appeal on the second ball, LBW, it's pitched outside the off-stump. No go.

Oh, look who's at the stadium.

Third man boundary on the fourth ball. Last ball in the air, but no wicket. Rahane runs forward, preparing for a dive but the ball falls just a little bit short of him. NZ at 119/2

21st over: Mishra in to bowl. Latham on strike. Boundary off the fourth ball. Four. Not quite perfectly timed, but it goes up in the air. There's a fielder but it bounces past him. Seven runs from the over. New Zealand at 112/2.

20th over: Axar Patel in to bowl. Beautiful shot from Taylor, quite a meaty slap on the bat and it looked like it would go all the away to the boundary there for a second. Kohli steps in, rather dives in, and saves the ball. Two runs on the last ball. Four runs this over in total. NZ 105/2

19th over: Some excellent deliveries from Mishra this over. The 100 comes up for New Zealand. 101/2

18th over: Patel back in to bowl. Latham on strike. Neat, tight over by Patel. Just the one run. NZ 97/2

17th over: Mishra back to bowl. Taylor finds the boundary in the fourth ball. Four! Five runs from the over. NZ 96/2

16th over: Axar Patel bowls. Ross Taylor is finding his feet. Three runs off the over. NZ 91/2

15th over: Amit Mishra bowling. Three dot balls this over. NZ 88/2

14th over: Axar Patel in the fray. Ross Taylor replaces Williamson. NZ 84/2.

13th over: Williamson on strike. Jadhav is back bowling. Quiet over. Uneventful so far.

Did we say uneventful? We spoke too soon. Jadhav strikes again. Dangerman Williamson is gone. LBW. New Zealand 80/2

12th over: Bumrah to Willamson. 3 runs off this over. NZ 73/1

11th over: Jadhav bowling to Williamson. There's an LBW appeal on the fifth ball of the over, umpire says no. 6 runs off the over. NZ 70/1.

10th over: Bumrah continues, Another excellent shot and the ball races to the boundary. WOW!!! what a shot. Neat shot for the photographers. New Zealand 64 for 1.

9th over: Umesh continues. Beautiful shot and the ball slips through the hands of the fielder and it is boundary. New Zealand 59 for 1.

8th over : Bumrah into the attack. Williamson smashes the ball through covers but only for two runs. Kiwis run-rate is 7.23. Excellent!! Good over from Bumrah. New Zealand 54 for 1.

7th over Umesh continues, Latham pulls it over mid-wicket for another six. Wow!! these two are moving on. Another short ball this time it is a wide. Umesh strikes, Guptill is plumb in front. excellent come-back from Umesh. New Zealand 46 for 1. Kane Williamson is the new man in. Williamson hits the last ball for boundary New Zealand 50 for 1. Latham 17 and Williamson 4.

6th over: Pandya continues. Guptill tries to push up the scoring rate for New Zealand. Guptill smashes through point for a boundary. He is moving on, dangerous signs for India. Good short ball and good shot from Guptill, takes two runs. Another smashing hit and the ball soars over long-off for another six. 12 from this over. New Zealand 38 for no loss.
