Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has thanked Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) for its “graciousness” by lifting the over three-year-old ban that prohibited him to enter Wankhede stadium.

Shah Rukh Khan, 49, took to Twitter to express his gratitude.

“My gentle father-in-law made me realise how little it matters who was rite or who was wrong. Wot matters is grace.

Thnx MCA for ur graciousness,” he tweeted.

The Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner was banned from entering MCA premises, including the Wankhede Stadium, for five years for engaging in a scuffle with the officials of the cricketing body and the security staff on May 16, 2010 following KKR’s victory over Mumbai Indians.

>The ban was lifted on Sunday .
