Durand Cup: Goa Velha beats Corps of Signals

Goa Velha rallied to edge past Corps of Signals 2-1 in the preliminary knockout stage of their Pool B match in the 127th Durand Cup here on Monday.

The Corps of Signals defence did well to soak up the pressure, and also came up with occasional forays and took the lead in the 35th minute.

Goa Velha equalised in the 51st minute through Joshua Vaz. Goa Velha scored the winner in the 71st minute with Suraj Hadkonkar getting a pass from Vaz.
