Sathish of Chennai City Police clinched four gold medals in swimming on the penultimate day of the 54th Tamil Nadu Police inter-zonal sports meet at the Amrita Aquatic Academy here on Wednesday.

The results: Freestyle: 400m: 1. Mahimaidoss (Chennai City) 5:37.07s; 2. Balamurugan (Armed Police); 3. Sankar (Commando Force). 800m: 1. Sathish (Chennai City) 11:05.75s; 2. Arun Prasanth (Chennai City); 3. Sankar (Commando Force). 4x200m: Chennai City (Sathish, Jayakumar, Gurumoorthy, Prabhu) 10:56.53s; 2. Commando Force (M. Govindu, P. Sankar, V. Anandaraj, M. Vimal); 3. Armed Police (Arun Pandi, Palpandi, Balamurugan, Muthukumar).

Backstroke: 100m: 1. Sathish (Chennai City); 1:11.59s; 2. Nithyanantham (Chennai City); 3. Arun Pandi (Armed Police). 200m: 1. Sathish (Chennai City) 2:55.56s; 2. Arun Prasanth (Chennai City); 3. Balamurugan (Armed Police).

Breaststroke: 50m: 1. Muthukumar (Armed Police) 37.06s; 2. Mahimaidoss (Chennai City); 3. Parthiban (South Zone). 200m: 1. Vimal (Commando Force) 2:57.38s; 2. Mahimaidoss (Chennai City); 3. Parthiban (South Zone).
