India’s Shamjetsabam Sarjubala and Saweety entered the semifinals in the AIBA women’s world boxing championships here on Friday.
Sarjubala (48kg) scored a dominating 3-0 win over Suguro Aldriani of Indonesia in the quarterfinal while Saweety (81kg) followed it up with a 2-1 win over Marsic Anamarija of Croatia in another quarterfinal bout. Pavitra and Kavita bowed out.
