M.S. Dhoni announced his retirement from Test cricket on December 30, 2014 but will continue to lead the side for ODIs and T20s. Having captained for 60 Tests, he has won 27 matches, lost 18 and drawn 15. In 30 home matches, he has won 21 matches, lost 3 and drawn 6.
